Open Bookshelf - a service of the Goethe Institut Cyprus

Shortly before Christmas and the end-of-the-year-stress we want to draw your attention to our newly established

OPEN BOOKSHELF

which you will find from today onwards under the roofed space with the benches just in front of the Goethe-Institut Cyprus building. There you will find 24 hours per day, 7 days per week throughout the whole year books in German language which you may take home, if you like to read them. And if you have books you would like to share with other readers, please bring them and put them in our open bookshelves. You will find all kinds of literature, including childrens books, photobooks, sometimes even Videos and DVD’s. In fact: It’s the users who decide what’s available in our open bookshelves.

We would be happy if this new service will be accepted by our friends and visitors!
